Coach Devin

Experience & Coaching Philosophy
Former college basketball player and 1,000-point high school scorer with experience coaching both high school varsity and AAU basketball. I have worked with athletes at multiple levels, including training top college players and NBA G League players, helping them develop their skill set, basketball IQ, confidence, and work ethic both on and off the court. My coaching philosophy is centered around discipline, accountability, player development, and building strong relationships with athletes. I believe in creating a competitive yet positive environment where players are pushed to reach their full potential while learning the importance of teamwork, leadership, and dedication.
Coach Cook

Experience & Coaching Philosophy
Growing up as a point guard in Brooklyn, New York, I learned early that great leadership starts with making those around you better. My vision and ability to lead helped transform Teachers Preparatory High School into a PSAL B Division powerhouse, culminating in a Final Four appearance during my senior season. I averaged 12 points and 9 assists, finishing sixth in New York City and second in Brooklyn in assists. I continued my basketball journey at Morgan State University, where I served as Head Manager under Coach Todd Bozeman. During my time there, Morgan State earned two MEAC Championships and made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, competing against programs led by West Virginia and Blake Griffin's Oklahoma team.
Since graduating in 2013, I've dedicated my career to developing student-athletes on and off the court. As a high school and middle school head coach, I've led multiple teams to Elite Eight, Final Four, and Sweet 16 appearances while compiling more than 83 regular-season wins. I'm also the founder and head coach of the Wake Up and Be Great, AAU Basketball Organization, where our mission extends beyond winning games to building confident, disciplined, and resilient young people. Over the years, I've helped 72 student-athletes earn college scholarships through athletics, academics, or a combination of both. My coaching philosophy is simple: teach the fundamentals, demand accountability, inspire confidence, and help every player become the best version of themselves—both in basketball and in life.
